EPR & Compliance Consultancy
I work as an embedded compliance and sustainability consultant for UK fashion brands selling into European markets — covering EU packaging EPR, textile EPR, and Digital Product Passports.
Brands in the £5–40m range that need senior expertise without a full-time hire.
About
Mark Dodds
ISEP · BA Textile Management, University of Leeds
I've spent over 20 years in the fashion and textiles industry — in technical, sourcing, and supply chain roles — before moving into compliance and sustainability consultancy full time through Strayham Limited.
My clients are UK brands that sell into the EU or hold EU subsidiaries. They need someone who understands both the regulatory framework and how fashion businesses actually operate. I work as their in-house compliance resource — without the overhead of a permanent hire.
I'm certified through ISEP, the professional standard for sustainability and EPR practitioners.
Services
What I do
EU Packaging EPR
Registration, data collection, reporting, and fee management for packaging placed on UK and EU markets. I handle the relationship with Producer Responsibility Organisations (PROs) in each country and manage your annual reporting obligations.
EU Textile EPR
The revised Waste Framework Directive made textile EPR mandatory across all EU member states in September 2025, with national schemes operational by April 2028. I help brands understand their obligations, prepare data systems, and register ahead of deadlines.
Digital Product Passports
ESPR requirements for textiles come into force by mid-2027. I help brands audit their material data, map their supply chain traceability gaps, and build the data architecture needed to comply — without starting from scratch.
Sustainability Impact
LCA-informed sustainability assessment, fibre and material impact benchmarking, and sustainability reporting support for brands building credible claims and preparing for CSRD-adjacent disclosure requirements.
Materials & Fabric Technical
Fabric specification, sustainable fibre sourcing, and supply chain compliance for brands that need technical textile knowledge embedded in their product development process.
UK EPR Packaging
Registration, data submission, and ongoing compliance management for UK packaging EPR obligations introduced under the Producer Responsibility Obligations (Packaging and Packaging Waste) Regulations 2024.
